Our Utility Knives are designed with a large comfortable ergonomic Slip Resistance Handle and are made of a Special (ABS) mix which we have found to be more durable than cast utility knives. Let’s begin by explaining how Quick and Easy it is to Load Blades and how these fantastic knives work.

HEAVY DUTY FIXED BLADE UTILITY KNIFE DETAILS

Simply turn the Easy Grip Knob counter clockwise, as you turn the Easy Grip Knob the blade cap will automatically retract open for easy insulation of many off the shelf blades available. (NOTE: YOU DO NOT have to completely remove blade cap when loading blade. Simply loosen until opening is sufficient to insert blade in under cap.)

Take your blade of choice and insert the blade into the open cavity locking the blade notches into the tabs. Once secure, turn the Easy Grip Knob clockwise until blade is firmly locked into place, Simple, Easy, No Hassle and ready to solve many everyday tasks.

Here’s how our new design holds the blade securely into its cavity. The blade is secured by the standard tab and notch design but it’s also secured from any movement by three side walls and a secure fitted clamping cap locking the blade of choice into place.

The blade cap locks the blade tight into its cavity with a heavy duty rust free 18-8 stainless steel threaded stud in our molded Easy Grip Knob which tightens into a rust free 18-8 stainless steel threaded hex nut permanently molded into the handle.

These utility knives also store many standard blades inside the handle. Whenever a blade needs to be changed simply turn the end cap to access blades.

RETRACTABLE UTILITY KNIFE DETAILS

To Retract or Extend a Blade slightly loosen the Knob and the Blade, Cap and Easy Grip Knob will slide inward or outward, then turn the Easy Grip Knob clockwise firmly locking the blade into a desired position. To change a blade the steps are the same as the Fixed Blade Utility Knife. Hardware slider and threaded stud in the molded Easy Grip Knob are 18-8 stainless steel. Note: Not all blades retract.
